14 Days and Counting!

Our February 1^st priority scholarship deadline for first-year students is quickly approaching!  Please make sure that you submit all of the pieces of your application by this date so that you receive full consideration for all available scholarships.  Don't miss out on great Notre Dame scholarships by overlooking the importance of February 1^st!

A completed first-year application includes:

• application (our online application OR our paper application OR the Common Application OR the Universal Application)
• admissions essay
• student resume
• official high school transcript
• 1 teacher or counselor recommendation
• official SAT or ACT scores
•  TOEFL scores (required only for international students)

 And while we are reminding you of this deadline, it is a great opportunity for us to also remind you about completing your FAFSA!  The February 15^th Notre Dame FAFSA deadline will be here soon and the counselors in the financial office are here to answer any questions you might have as you begin that work.  Check out their website to view more about the financial aid process, instructions for the FAFSA, and up-to-date lists of external scholarships that are available for students.

The Women’s College office of admissions wishes you the best for 2013 – so many new opportunities and experiences await you!  We hope you had a wonderful holiday season full of meaningful memories.

As you head back to school, it is time to face a return to the homework and projects and beginning to prepare for mid-terms.  Maybe you even have some college related topics that require your attention.  Whatever it is that you need to accomplish, tackle it head on and to the very best of your ability!

The beginning of January usually finds our campus just a tad quieter as students have not yet returned for Winterim or spring classes.  While our students are away from campus taking part in some outstanding academic and personal opportunities, our admissions counselors are here, happy to answer your calls, emails, and share more of the Notre Dame spirit.

In case you still need to visit our North Charles Street campus, don’t forget that we are hosting our second Winter Open House on Saturday, January 12, 2013 from 8:30 a.m. to 12 noon.  The open house will provide you with the opportunity to tour campus, meet your admissions counselor, learn about financial aid, and attend special information sessions on topics such as our School of Liberal Arts & Sciences or our School of Nursing.  To RSVP, please call 410-532-5330 or visit us here.
